Our love story

Mel and Josh met in November 2019 after crossing paths on a dating website. Mel was immediately struck by Josh’s kindness and intrigued by his island life, while Josh instantly fell for Mel’s cute smile and dark humour.

In the weeks that followed, they couldn’t stay away from each other. Weeks quickly turned into months, months into years - and along the way they bought a home, shared countless adventures, and filled their days with laughter and love.

In September 2024, on a beautiful beach in Vanuatu, Josh got down on one knee…&amp; Mel said yes! They can’t wait to celebrate with their favourite people and finally become Mr &amp; Mrs 🤍

Semi Formal 🤍 dress to impress!

A little less formal than black tie, with plenty of room to have fun! Pops of colour are more than welcome.Gents: No tux required - but we’d love to see a tie!Ladies: Please avoid wearing white, ivory or cream.Everyone: Dancing shoes are a must!

As our celebration will be mostly outdoors, please dress with the weather in mind - comfort and style encouraged!

Dress Code

Most accommodation options are located within a 10-20 minute drive of the wedding venue. There are many options on AirBnB and Booking.com Check out motels in nearby Cleveland or Green Acres Capalaba Caravan Park they have some budget friendly cabins too. Or treat yourself and stay at the nearby Mt Cotton Retreat.

The venue is best accessed by car. Parking is available on site at the golf club, with a short walk to the ceremony location.

If you’re making a weekend of it, we recommend arriving a little early to enjoy the surrounding coastline, beaches and local cafes. We love our little pocket of the bayside and we hope you do too.
